Repack Features

  • Based on DOOM.The.Dark.Ages-RUNE scene ISO release: rune-doom.the.dark.ages.iso (120,779,079,680 bytes)
  • Two Bonus OSTs in MP3 format (578 MB) added, thanks to InsaneRamZes!
  • Game version: Steam BuildID 23888600 (Update 4); 6 DLCs/Bonuses are included
  • 100% Lossless & MD5 Perfect: all files are identical to originals after installation
  • NOTHING ripped, NOTHING re-encoded
  • Selective Download feature: you may skip downloading and installing of non-English voiceovers and bonus content (ArtBook application + OSTs). English VOs are included by default

Why Monkey Repack?

This game is using pretty slow Oodle compression library method called Kraken. I had this game repacked properly, it was smaller by ~15 GB, but the installation time was awful: almost 2 hours on 32-threads CPU and around 7 hours on 8-threads CPU. Absolutely not worth the savings. Hence I did a Monkey Repack with basic compression only. And that any monkey can do.
